Updates/last day in Sukhothai

Hi everyone - or like, the 5 people that probably read this : ) So most of you probably know already that I'll be home on the 27th of November. Sad as it is, I have decided not to go to India, I just knew I would be stressed/anxious the whole time and would never feel totally safe, especially when trying to get from one place to the next without losing my room reservations. So. it is what it is. and now I will be back in a few short weeks. But on a good note, I went again to Old Sukhothai today, with Alex, the Swiss woman I met yesterday. And I feel like I got some better shots. I think the time of day helped (early morning, better light, less heat) and some surprise discoveries in the ruins helped as well. I still have shot far less than I thought I would, but, oh well, there will still be plenty to show. I leave for Chiang Mai tomorrow to stay with Gaelle, and I'm hoping I'll be able to finally explore real Thailand/Thai people/life. I have a few people I might meet up with for day trips, otherwise, I will continue to try and ignore the loneliness of exploring on your own (hopefully staying with Gaelle will help this because at least I will not go to bed and wake up alone!). Then it's back to bangkok to stay with Gary and Paula (again, just the nicest/sweetest people), and then fly to Siem Reap for a week, then home home home. Not sure what the internet situation will be like in Chiang Mai, but I will try to get back to you all soon!!
